It's Memorial Day here in the U.S.A. In reality, we should be thankful every single day of the year, but the third Monday of May is the official day where we all come together to honor those who have lost their lives serving our country. As a wife and sister of two brothers who served, I am grateful for their service and their safe return home. Unfortunately, many soldiers paid the ultimate price in service to God and country. Today I say Thank you for your sacrifice to keep this great nation safe. I will forever be grateful that I live in the home of the free because of the brave...

  • While only one day of the year is dedicated solely to honoring our veterans, Americans must never forget the sacrifices that many of our fellow countrymen have made to defend our country and protect our freedoms. Randy Neugebauer
  • For love of country they accepted death... -James A. Garfield
  • A hero is someone who has given his or her life to something bigger than oneself. Joseph Campbell
  • We come, not to mourn our dead soldiers, but to praise them. -Francis A. Walker

Happy Memorial Day to you. If you have a veteran or a person on active duty in your home, please tell them Thank you for me. I am proud to be an American and they have helped keep me free.
